The selection and reading order of the book reflects the Confucian classical orientation and civilization concept. Reading is the goal and attitude of learning and the complex relationship between knowledge and morality, practicality, scientific attitude, art, expertise and general education, Taoism and art. Confucian reading points to comprehensive people rather than single-dimensional people. The highest goal is to achieve a fantasy personality and reach the realm of saints. Xunzi’s reading method can be extracted from the “four ways” and “three hearts”. The method of combining inside and outside: do not learn to have self-satisfaction with teachers and learning and the three realities of learning: knowledge of hearing, knowledge of virtue, and true knowledge of reality.

1. Reading books without any tips, reading methods without any methodShe stood up and went downstairs in a single time.

When we revolve around the vast Chinese classics and flow into the thick collection of historical books, we are sighing about the lack of “eyes” that discover the beauty of Chinese civilization. The broad-mindedness of infecting national civilization and the laundering of high-quality traditional civilization are often realized through the integration of reading and the domain of predecessors. Confucianism has long been in the dominant position in Chinese civilization, and its influence has radiated to all aspects of social thinking, morality, art, philosophy, etc., and the reading field is no exception. From the opening of “Study” of “Study” to the opening of “Xunzi” of “Study” to the later systematic reading experience of Zhu Xi, a great scholar in the Southern Song Dynasty, we can see that Confucianism particularly emphasizes the introduction, study and summary of the comprehensive and summary of the reading methods. Even the overhuman saying “Everything is the best, but only reading is high” and “I don’t know anything, but the pride of Confucians” [1]5 is bound to beIn terms of meaning, it also reflects the significant characteristics of Confucianism’s high emphasis on reading and extensive reading. The Confucian Toshilin characters have their own unique insights into reading, which can be enough to make a reading book a history of learning methods. If you read a book, it doesn’t look like a wandering cat. “To study as the middle part, I extracted the experience and methods of Confucian reading for my study, and did not lose the “final south battle” of reading.

Xunzi was the last major Confucian scholar in the pre-Qin period, and was a comprehensive innovative type of Confucian scholar in the Confucian academic circle. He followed Confucius’ Confucian tradition and became a critic and melter of the pre-Qin hundred schools of thought, and developed the purpose and new format of Confucianism. At the same time, he was a practical Confucian scholar, with a large number of reading books, becoming an official, and studying for his academic experience. At the same time, he taught a large number of disciples, and also cultivated several outstanding students, making serious contributions to the inheritance of Confucianism. Therefore, the reading experience and learning teaching are particularly meaningful. Xunzi once said, “If you cannot learn, you will be able to do it”[2]1. There is no way to read books, but there is no way to read them. Confucianism has proposed a variety of specific and subtle ways of reading in terms of book selection, reading order, reading objectives, reading process, and specific methods.

2. Select the order of book catalog and read.

Reading is the first problem of what book to read. Although this problem is not prominent in modern books, the pre-Qin Confucianism has already realized the main problem. For example, Confucius, the founder of Confucianism, was a “student” who was learning but not learning, and a “teacher” who was tirelessly taught. He refused to give up the night, and made progress through his studies, and finally became an outstanding saint. On the one hand, he is a very good at learning. He was devoted to learning for five years, and was very knowledgeable about the various knowledge that appeared at that time. These knowledge include both the learning of the teachings that touch the preservation level and the learning of the detailed six arts that touch the contemplation level. Confucius always showed others with silence, harmony, and caution, but he showed a frank and straightforward side in learning. He believed that among the ten people, I would definitely find someone who is as loyal as me, and it would be difficult to find someone who is as good as me. Confucius left behind a large number of famous sayings about teaching and learning to the future generations, and also formed a classic expression of modern teaching in our country. On the other hand, Confucius was an outstanding teacher. He founded private school and opened a new era of private teaching that was in line with the official school. He taught his disciples, and taught more than 3,000 students, cultivated a large number of outstanding students (such as the Four Subjects and Ten Philosophy), and had rich experience in teaching education.

Mencius advocated that it is better to believe in books than to be without books and to know people and discuss the world, expressing his distrust of pure book knowledge., no explanation was left on the order of reading. As for Xunzi, later generations almost became a definite evaluation of his “respect for the prosper and the sacrificial power”. Can Xunzi really only know how to uphold the principles, emphasize the law, and practice, and eliminate the “Pen” and “Book” or perhaps not pay attention to “Pen” and “Book”? No. Due to the profound understanding of Xunzi, it forms a phenomenon similar to the “non-in-one” in language. A certain type of error in recognition is “conventional and customary” because of its long history and no one has ever tested it. Even if someone tests, no one cares about it, but thinks it is a small topic or a pretentious one. In the end, it is a wrong thing, so it is wrong, forming an uncorrectable understanding error. The whole book of Xunzi is thirty-two quotations, and the “Pen” is cited as many as 83 times and retains the modern ethereal poems that do not exist in the present version. Its enumeration volume is indeed rare. How can I say that I don’t value “Pen”? However, Xunzi compared himself with Mencius and could pay more attention to gifts. Discussing gifts in his book will definitely lead to such misunderstandings, but this is not what Xunzi did. During the early days of Xunzi in the war, he realized that the hundreds of schools of thought were too numerous. If he did not select the books, reading books would fall to the goal of learning. Learning even had the ability to slide toward danger, becoming something that “evil words, treacherous words, and turbulent words to harm the whole country”[2]199. Therefore, Xunzi specially wrote the “Not Twelve Sons” to criticize and divide various schools at that time, and use the emotional attitude of clearing the walls and fundamental governance to maintain the regular position of Confucian thinking and academic practice.

Xunzi believed that reading should “beginning with the knowledge and ultimately with the knowledge” [2]22. If this is in line with Confucius, Xunzi’s reading thoughts on books and gifts. When reading books, you must carefully select the book catalog, and the principles should be based on the sages and sages and Confucian classical books. Xunzi’s contribution to the shaping and inheritance of Confucian classics is particularly great. He was both a Confucian Confucian Confucian who promoted Taoism. He had a deep understanding of the nature and life of Chinese civilization and the fantasy of civilization. He believed that he must always have a sense of awe for classics – “I don’t hear the words of the previous kings and do not know how to learn.” [2]1 At the same time, as Xiangshan said: “All things must have the root and the end.” [3]56 When reading books, you should also study the order of order and order of order.

The books produced in my country are as vast as a sea of smoke, making people feel excited. Since the beginning of Han Dynasty, my country has begun to have book classification and sorting related tasks. The “Seven Notes” existing in Ban Gu’s “Han Book·Article” has b
